Edward Montet on Islam

Say, "He is Allah, (the) One. The Self-Sufficient Master. He begets not, nor was He begotten; and there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him." (Al-Ikhlas 112:1-4)

It is a known fact that every language has one or more terms that are used in reference to God and sometimes to lesser deities. This is not the case with Allah. Allah is the personal name of the One true God. Nothing else can be called Allah. The term has no plural or gender. This shows its uniqueness when compared with the word "god," which can be made plural, as in "gods," or made feminine, as in "goddess." It is interesting to notice that Allah is the personal name of God in Aramaic, the language of Jesus and a sister language of Arabic.

Islam rejects characterizing God in any human form or depicting Him as favoring certain individuals or nations on the basis of wealth, power or race. He created the human-beings as equals. They may distinguish themselves and get His favor through virtue and piety only.

The concepts that God rested on the seventh day of creation, that God wrestled with one of His soldiers, that God is an envious plotter against mankind, and that God is incarnate in any human being are considered blasphemy from the Islamic point of view.

The unique usage of Allah as a personal name of God is a reflection of Islam's emphasis on the purity of the belief in God that is the essence of the message of all God's messengers. Because of this, Islam considers associating any deity or personality with God as a deadly sin that God will never forgive, despite the fact that He may forgive all other sins.

Even a non Muslim like Edward Montet admits the simple yet powerful and very logical concept of God in Islam. The oneness or the unity of God.

Edward Montet, 'La Propagande Chretienne et ses Adversaries Musulmans,' Paris 1890. (Also in T.W. Arnold in 'The Preaching of Islam,' London 1913.)

"Islam is a religion that is essentially rationalistic in the widest sense of this term considered etymologically and historically....the teachings of the Prophet, the Qur'an has invariably kept its place as the fundamental starting point, and the dogma of unity of God has always been proclaimed therein with a grandeur a majesty, an invariable purity and with a note of sure conviction, which it is hard to find surpassed outside the pale of Islam....A creed so precise, so stripped of all theological complexities and consequently so accessible to the ordinary understanding might be expected to possess and does indeed possess a marvelous power of winning its way into the consciences of men."

Paradise and Hell

What’s God going to get out of punishing us anyway? God is not there to punish us.. When God tells us about hell, would you rather hear, get scared and get your act together or you rather be in it? It’s an act of Mercy from Allah, that He telling us about it before we see it..

In some way it’s like parent to their child, if they punishing their child, that doesn’t mean that they want to punish them but it’s because they want keep them on the right track and it’s a form of love and care a parent to their child. The bad thing is sometimes a love between human can be abusive. Often we see a parent giving all their child wants regardless the child actually need it or not. Sometime their reason is because it’s because they love them.  Different to form of love and mercy from God to human being, because Allah know exactly want we need, so definitely Allah will gives us want we need instead of just what we want. The second thing is the love of Allah to us is so big that we can say God’s love and mercy to human being it’s extremely and unimaginably great. Even in the first surah in the Quran, Allah tell us that He is Most Gracious and Most Merciful

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.‎ (1:1)

When Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) explains about paradise and hell to the companions, the companions were able to understand it and picture it as if paradise and hell are so close to them. So, at that time rasulullah (prophet) can boost their motivation to be a better person and to stay patience (Sabr) in obeying Allah.

As to those who believe and work righteous deeds, they have, for their entertainment, the Gardens of Paradise,‎ (18:107)
________________________________________________

Who will inherit Paradise: they will dwell therein (for ever).‎ (23:11

Basically now we have to do that same thing, over and over again to make us stay sabr until the time we enter paradise. What I mean is we have to make every opportunity that is possible to remember hell and paradise. For example, if in this world we have a dream house, then we must believe that our dream house in paradise will be far more amazing, stunning and for eternal. If we have plan to have a vacation in super beautiful, relax and natural place and not to mention super expensive then we must believe that Allah will give us in the next life even a far more better place, and it’s totally free and we will never get bored.  The question is, are we worthy enough to enter it?

Muslim Help Jews

And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds. (Al-Anbiyaa’ 21:107)

Here is a video that shows Muslim in real life. In real life we are just a normal human being, we’re not running around and terrorizing people like the major and mainstream media said.  We will help people who need our help the best we could regardless of their religion, race, or anything else.
Life is too short, so we don’t have time to spread hatred, negative thinking or any useless thing. In contrary the Noble Quran tells us that:

O my people, this worldly life is only [temporary] enjoyment, and indeed, the Hereafter - that is the home of [permanent] settlement. (Ghaafir 40:39)

So start helping people right now, positive thinking and make a world a better place. Let go your stereotype and judge Islam and Muslim objectively. I hope this video will help. Enjoy.
